Riaan has been with Íslandsbanki, in Iceland, for the last 5 years focusing on driving the digital and data journey of the bank. Originally from South Africa, Riaan has been working within the banking sector for the last 20 years being involved in various multi country transformational initiatives. His current focus involves unlocking the power of Generative AI within the constraints of a heavily regulated banking industry.
