Erwin is Head of Services Development and Management at EBA CLEARING, the leading private-industry provider of pan-European payments infrastructure services. Erwin has been working in interbank payment processing since 1998. Erwin is responsible for the management of the EURO1 (for high-value euro payments), STEP2 (for pan-European retail payments) and RT1 (the first pan-European instant payment system) services, as well as the development of new services and initiatives such as request to pay (R2) and fraud pattern and anomaly detection (FPAD).
