Karl enjoys his current transversal role of Claims Technical & Central Services Director. He rejoined AXA UK in a new Technical Services Director role in 2019 after a 20 year spell in Senior Claims roles at Groupama and Ageas.
Karl has over 35 years’ experience in Claims and his range of responsibilities have included all types of business lines and leadership roles in operations, technical, supplier, market and field.
He leads a team of 220 covering Retail & Commercial with responsibility for Large Loss, Supply Chain, Fraud Strategy, Engineers, Audit and Technical Field Investigation Services.
As a Director of the IFB Board and a member of ABI Personal Injury Committee, he is proud to help the claims industry more widely.
Away from work, Karl enjoys playing cricket, skiing, cycling, walking, watching most sports and the company of his two grown up daughters.
