Beatriz Valenti joined QBE in June 2022 as Director of Insurance for Europe. Prior to joining QBE, Beatriz held several roles with Zurich Insurance for almost 20 years including Head of Financial Lines and Head of Customer and Distribution, being the last one Head of Zurich Commercial Insurance Spain driving Spanish business successfully after a strong turnaround and retention talent program from 2017-2022 and, previously, she was Head of Customer for Zurich Commercial Insurance EMEA, from 2013-2017, period when she was based in London driving both growth and retention across Corporate and Middle Market customer segments in EMEA.
Beatriz began her insurance career with Marsh in London and later, moved to Marsh Spain where she held different roles within International Business and Financial Lines until she joined Zurich Spain in 2002. Overall, Beatriz has 25 years’ experience in insurance. She holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona.
Beatriz is member of the EO Insurance Division Executive Committee and QBE Europe Management Committee.
