I have worked in insurance for nearly 30 years, starting as an Underwriter at Commercial Union, I progressed through a variety of underwriting and account management roles before taking over running the Aviva Sales and Underwriting Team in Maidstone in 2003.

I moved across to Allianz in 2006 to run both the Local Sales and Small Business Teams before taking a role in Innovation and Strategy in 2009. I did this for 3 years before joining as Claims as the Operations Manager – running 5 sites. After 8 years in this role and nearly 15 years at Allianz, I joined Ecclesiastical as their Claims Director in October 2020.

I am thoroughly enjoying leading an award winning team who have consistently put the customer first whilst maintaining strong technical discipline. We have recently begun investing in technology to ensure we are responding appropriately to changing customer expectations.

Previously, I’ve been heavily involved in CII for over 20 years – having volunteered in both local institutes and more recently representing our profession on the CII Claims Faculty / Society. I remain passionate about our investing in our profession and driving public trust in what we do.
